Odette's Journey Pattern

In 1990 international quilt designer and Author Kaye England, had the inspiration to do a series of quilts based on the lives of women in history. She featured blocks honoring women such as Martha Washington, Frances Cleveland, Lucille Ball, Hellen Keller, Christy Mcauliffe and many others. When refreshing her collection earlier this year, Kaye thought about honoring Odette Ueltschi who ran BERNINA company from 1965, and became president in 1979. She ushered in new products, innovation and customer connection. These patterns are inspired by this Swiss innovator and titan of industry!
