Braided elastic is more eye-appealing and decorative than ribbed elastic. It can be used on the outside of garments (linen, lingerie, blouses, etc.) as well as in casings at the waistline, neckline, sleeve and leg bands. This light-weight elastic can be used with all types of fabrics. Available in a variety of colors and lengths. Braided elastic is shrink-resistant and features a horizontal pull that stretches lengthwise. It narrows when stretched. It is not recommended that you cut braided elastic horizontally. Cutting it lengthwise will cause it to fray and run. Braided elastic is both washable and dry cleanable. Washing Instructions: warm water wash and tumble dry.
