This is a vintage Butterick dress pattern #8696. It is for a misses size 12 (bust 32"). The original description on the envelope reads, "Fun-to-sew chemise with triangular styling at neckline and new side seam details that suggest shape. (A)Three-quarter sleeved version with cowl neck-line that ties in back. (B) Short sleeved verson with contrast button-down collar." This is a solidly '60s style that would look fabulous in contemporary fabrics!
