The Band Variations and Pockets for the Tabula Rasa Jacket offers multiple band variations and pockets for the Tabula Rasa Jacket in all sizes, XS - 3XL. This package does not include patters for the jacket front, back, side, or sleeve; refer to your original Tabula Rasa Jacket pattern for those pieces and for size information. 

The new band styles include: width variations on the original band, a faced band, shawl collar, ruched band, split and shaped band, bands with inseam buttonholes, and bands with a pleated or a gathered collar. It also includes instructions for binding the jacket front and for adding a narrow pleated edge or a softly ruffled edge. 

The pocket styles include traditional inseam pocket, a kangaroo pocket that can be placed on the inside or outside, hidden pockets for the interior, and patch pockets for the exterior. 

Fabric Requirements: 
Several of these bands will require more fabric than the original band, particularly an extra-wide band, the pleated or gathered collar, and the narrow pleated or softly ruffled edge. Consult the instructions and tissue patterns in your size to calculate the yardage required. Bands and pockets are also a great way to add a contrasting fabric or use pieces from your stash!
