The University of Sewing Presents...

The University of Sewing excited to invite you to a monthly opportunity to learn and share with like minded sewists . . . and doughnut holes!

It's The University of Sewing Presents! Every month, a staff member will open with a brief, 20-minute talk about some of our favorite sewing techniques, supplies, and new or incoming products headed our way that month. We will share inspiration for these products, and give you ideas for what you can make with the new fabrics in the shop! Afterwards, the real fun begins as we have our Sewist Showcase, and give YOU the opportunity to participate in a Show and Tell of your latest makes! We'll snack, and chat, and ooh and ahh in an encouraging, supportive environment designed for all makers.

Anyone participating in the Sewist Showcase will receive a 15% off coupon to the University of Sewing--That's 15% off your entire purchase!! Furthermore, you are NOT limited to only showing off one type of sewing. We are here to encourage everyone to exhibit their creative sewing makes: from quilts, to bags, to embroidery, to hand stitching. If you put a needle and thread to it, we want to see it!

We encourage everyone to bring your favorite breakfast beverage of choice, but we do ask that you keep said drink in a lidded cup in order to reduce the potential for spills. We will provide doughnut holes, and some breakfast snacks. This is a FREE event, but you must register for it ahead of time, as we need to account for chairs and snacks!
