Beginner Friendly: Making a Zipper Pouch
Students will gain confidence using a sewing machine, sew a zipper, and practice simple quilting techniques.
Throughout the class, you'll practice basic sewing skills, learn tips for accurate stitching, and gain confidence working with fabric and notions. By the end of the session, you'll leave with a finished quilted zipper pouch and the foundational skills needed for future sewing projects.

| Skill Details: | You must know how to thread and operate a sewing machine. If you do not know how to use a sewing machine, it is recommended that you take the Introducing the Sewing Machine class ahead of time. |
| Requirements: | Sewing machine *We have classroom sewing machines if needed. Please let us know in advance so we can make sure they are setup for class. Zipper foot, if you have one Walking foot, if you have one |
