Beginner Friendly: Making a Drawstring Bag
Participants will learn how to sew a clean hem, construct a casing for a drawstring, and box corners to add depth and shape to their project. Along the way, students will gain confidence using a sewing machine and follow basic construction techniques. By the end of class, each student will leave with a completed drawstring bag and foundational sewing skills they can apply to future projects.

| Skill Details: | You must know how to thread and operate a sewing machine. If you do not know how to use a sewing machine, it is recommended that you take the Introducing the Sewing Machine class ahead of time. |

| Requirements: | Sewing machine We have classroom machines if you need to borrow them. Please let us know in advance so we can setup machines. |
