Beginner Friendly: Making a Tote Bag
Throughout the class, participants will learn how to measure and cut fabric, create clean hems, construct durable straps, and sew French seams for a professional-looking finish with enclosed raw edges. By the end of the class, each student will leave with a completed tote bag and a solid understanding of basic sewing skills.

| Skill Details: | You must know how to thread and operate a sewing machine. If you do not know how to use a sewing machine, it is recommended that you take the Introducing the Sewing Machine class ahead of time. |

My favorite projects include crafting everyday essentials like tote bags and pillows, as well as piecing together beautiful quilts. I also love using machine embroidery to add that special, personalized touch. |
