Annual Club: B990/790 Club (Meeting via Zoom) 2026

This year will be a monthly, project-based class designed specifically for 990 and 790Pro owners. We’ll teach you everything the Twilight Garden quilt was created to highlight — from stitch designer magic and decorative combinations to couching, pintucks, sideways motion, using feet in a different way, shape designer, and even ruler work and bobbin work embroidery. It truly is amazing what these machines can do!
But instead of only working toward a quilt, you’ll be making beautiful, practical projects each month. Things you’ll use. Things you’ll give. Things that let your BERNINA shine! Of course, if you’ve got your heart set on making the quilt, you will be able to follow along and complete the full Twilight Garden Quilt with us. And if you’re feeling ambitious, you can even do both!
Why join the University of sewing for this special 990 Club this year?
We have a unique and talented staff that have a variety of skill sets that enhance our machines and they can bring the very best to each of you! Each employee at the University of Sewing actually sews! We cherish this talent and want to share it with you whenever we can. Margaret and the staff will take turns presenting the classes on the 4th Wednesday of each month starting in January 2026.
This club runs from Jan 2026 through Feb 2027. Anyone who wants to join later in the year will have access to all previous lessons but their membership will expire Feb 28, 2027. The January lesson will start with a free lesson on E2E quilting and the new lessons will start with the February meeting. 20 minutes will be built in to each lesson for show and tell, comments, and questions.
