| Instructor: | Rachel Burke and Jo Ellen Hamilton |
| Instructor Bio: | Rachel has been sewing since the age of seven. She began by stitching skirts and Halloween costumes with her mother, and quickly branched out into fiber arts of all kinds: cross stitching, weaving, beadwork, and bag construction. It wasn't until the Pandemic that Rachel discovered quilting, and quickly fell in love with the medium! Jo Ellen - My sewing journey began at age 6 when my grandmother taught me and my sister to sew on a treadle sewing machine. I started out making Barbie and doll clothes, eventually moving on to making my own clothes as well as clothes for my kids. Quilting caught my eye about 25 years ago and it has become my main sewing focus. I recently picked up machine embroidery and am enjoying putting embroidery designs on everything. I also make bags and just about anything else I can thin of that allows me to use one of my many sewing machines. |
