Youth Sewing with Cheryl

Is your youth looking to sew more with some instruction and guidance? Youth Sewing with Cheryl at the University of Sewing might be the perfect place for them to grow in their sewing skills.
Youths need to have basic knowledge of a sewing machine. They need to be able to thread the machine and wind a bobbin. We highly recommend taking the Sewing Machine Demystified class offered by the University of Sewing. It is the best place to start. We have classroom machines to learn on and to use during this class.
Then as a prerequisite to sign up, a private lesson with Cheryl where we will discuss the youth's goals and projects for a better experience during youth sewing. This spring section has 6 sessions. will be on Wednesday's 4:15 to 6:15. Dates for Spring 2/26, 3/12, 3/26, 4/9, 4/23 and 5/14 Each class is $25. You need to sign up for each class.
All purchases on the day of class are 20% off (except machines and cabinets).
We will do some skill building each class. There will be at least 2 Make and Takes during our time together. As a group, we will learn how to make a headband and a scrunchie.
Note: The instructor reserves the right to request that the parent be present for the duration of the activity.
