Tiling Embroidery Class
Explore the world of OESD Tiling Scenes as we make an adorable Christmas stocking. This is probably the quickest tiling scene you will ever do! Learn about the stabilizers, tools, and the process. We will attempt to finish as many tiles as possible in class and will be able to sew some of them together. You will be able to finish the stocking at home if necessary.
Supplies:
Embroidery Machine with 5 x 7 Hoop (Bernina Oval), power cord, embroidery foot, sewing foot
One Bobbin with bobbin fill thread and one bobbin with red thread for sewing tiles together
Medium Cutaway
Two 5x5” fabric pieces – one white for the polar bear and one green for the sweater
¼ yd red fabric
Fusible fleece
Small sharp scissors for trimming the applique
