Walking Foot Quilting



Learn to use a walking foot to quilt different unique patterns for all your projects. Inspiration for this class came from the book WALK by Jacquie Gering.  Plus Cheryl's development of samples to show off a wonderful quilting technique.  

Cheryl will walk you through the process of quilting with your walking foot.  There are many facets to quilting with your walking foot beyond stitching in the ditch.  Learn a range of patterns from easy to more advanced. Find out how simple walking foot quilting is and what fun it can bring to your final projects.

A MUST for this class is a Walking Foot and/or a sewing machine that has a differential feed option. 


Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Have a working knowledge of your sewing machine. Have a working knowledge of the quilting process.
Requirements: A MUST for Class: Walking Foot and/or differential feed on your sewing machine. Bring a sewing machine in working order with the power cord and foot pedal. A basic sewing kit: snips, thread, bobbins, seam ripper A small Rotary mat would be helpful if you have one.
Instructor: Cheryl Rizzuto
Instructor Bio: Cheryl has a long history of teaching sewing through 4-H to students of all ages. She loves to create and inspire her students.
