Ikina Two Jacket Workshop
The Ikina II jacket is a mid-length, loose-fitting kimono-style jacket with narrow front band with piped trim, patch pockets, three-quarter-length sleeves with trimmed edge band, and side vents. This is a very versatile pattern that can be made shorter or longer, have fun with the pocket, or change the band. We will cover all of that in class, plus learning to layout and cut out a pattern, some fitting tips, sew piping, and finish seams. Kimono style garments are really easy and rewarding to sew!
Pattern will be included in the price. Before class you will need to come to the store to purchase your fabric, take it home and wash, dry and press the fabric.
Bring to class your fabric, pattern (if you have picked it up before class) sewing machine and all accessories, new needles for your machine, matching thread, pins, marking tool like a Frixion pen, and scissors.
