Paper Piecing How Sweet it is!
This easy wall hanging is a great way to learn, or re-learn, paper piecing. Found paper piecing, also known as FPP, is a super way to make beautiful quilt blocks. It is precise and the results can be absolutely stunning. This technique is not hard, but it is different. It truly is best learned by DOING it. Come create something adorable and learn a skill that you willl use again and again!
Please bring your machine in good working order with all of its usual accessories, i.e. power cord, foot controller. You will also need basic sewing supplies such as your favorite seam ripper, thread snips, pins and wonder clips (if you have them). You may also want to bring a small rotary cutting mat, a rotary cutter (with an old blade. We will be cutting through paper so don't bring a fresh blade) and a rotary cutting ruler to cut short, straight lines. Don't forget your reading glasses, if you wear them, as the book Show Me How to Paper Piece is included in this class!
