Rotary Cutter 101
Come learn the fundamentals of Rotary Cutting for basic piecing and more! This class will be a combination of demonstration and hands-on practice. We will cover information about rotary tools: the mats, different types of rulers, and cutters. You will see firsthand the possibilities rotary cutting can bring to your sewing table. In our time together you will see many project possibilities through simple and more advanced techniques. And create samples to build your confidence and to inspire your creativity.
Please bring the following to class:
Rotary mat, ruler, and rotary cutter or
A rotary kit can be purchased at the University of Sewing
Basic sewing machine, 1/4 foot, basic sewing kit, neutral thread, pins, seam ripper, scissors
3 Fat Quarters (dark, medium, and light)
