If you want to make clothing you need proper measurements of your body. This virtual class will teach the proper way to measure yourself, by yourself, with the help of Margaret Fette, owner of the University of Sewing. Margaret has a long history custom sewing, sewing garments and alterations.
This is broken into 4 sessions. Margaret will play a video in each session detailing the measuring process for most things you need to accurately measure yourself. Then there will be a Question and Answer time to address your questions.
We will discuss the ways that you can use these numbers to alter your patterns. How can you simplify the fitting process? How to fine tune the measurement to get to the fit you want.
Once you sign up she will email you a copy of the measuring sheet you will use in class and your zoom invitations.
