Learning to sew your own clothes is more important now than ever. With more stores selling online and department stores selling “disposable” clothes it’s hard just finding a decent pair of pants or a t-shirt that even comes close to fitting. Finding fabric to make our clothes is easier than finding the garments!
Quickly learn to sew by mastering the fundamentals of sewing. Specific techniques will allow you to increase your skill levels. Make the clothes you want to wear!
Classes requirements:
Bring your machine along with all the accessories, power cord, foot pedal and manual, plus a small sewing kit of scissors, pins, hand sewing needles and some thread.
If you have never used or a sewing machine or are very new to one, you will need to take our Sewing Machine Demystified class first. Please don’t hesitate to talk to us to determine if you need this class.
100 Level Sewing Lessons are broken into 8 sessions, each covering topics and making samples to prepare you for sewing your own clothes. You may take any of the classes at any time, there is no order. For example, maybe you have struggled with zippers, take Session 104. Brand new to sewing- take Sewing Machine Demystified and Session 101
