Making Sense of the Computer and Embroidery Files

Managing embroidery files can be a daunting task. Between purchasing designs, getting them unzipped, creating your own, plus all those freebies on the internet, even conservative embroiders can collect thousands of designs in just a few years time! It is often difficult to find a design that is needed and sometimes results in a duplicate purchase.  We will also cover some computer basics.

Bring your laptop & power cords, a mouse, a USB stick and willingness to get these files in shape so you can embroider instead of looking for your designs.

At this time we can ONLY teach on Windows based computers/laptops. Bernina V9 is a windows based program. If you have an Apple based device, you will have the V9 software on a platform like Bootcamp.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: You should be able to know the difference between left and right click, how to click and drag, and at least know where your Windows Explorer is.
