The University of Sewing offers comprehensive classes in quilting, sewing, and embroidery. From basic to advanced levels, our experienced instructors guide you every step of the way. You'll leave our classes with the skills and confidence to tackle any project.

Sewing and Quilt Classes


Quilting In The Hoop: What's on your Machine.

Schedule Private Lessons

Schedule private lessons by contacting us by filling out the form or call us at 812-323-2665. Private lessons are $45-65/hour. These classes are great because they can cater to exactly what you want to learn about. This is appropriate for garment, quilting or youth sewing. Please give us several options for days and times. We will connect with you within 72 hours unless the shop is closed for holidays. Please see the calendar to see when we are closed. No class is scheduled until it's paid for.
